Jane Baker was the daughter of Richard and Hannah (nee Hassall)
Baker (FAR00083).
She was born in or about 1790.
1820
Jane Baker became
the joint owner with Dr John 'Cockfighting' Bellyse (1738-1828) of Woodhouse,
Audlem, which they purchased in 1820 from the Trustees
of Mrs. Barrow's Charity and sold in 1849 to Lord Kilmorey.
Jane Baker married
Edmund Wells Oldaker (1786-1874) of Norton Green Hall, Burslem,
Staffordshire, a solicitor and son of William Oldaker, on 26 September 1820 at
Norton-in-Hales, Shropshire.
They had two sons (who died young) and seven daughters.
1849
Jane Oldaker died on
25 July 1849 and was buried at Norton-le-Moors,
Staffordshire on 1 August 1849.
