Lynam was the son of Charles Cotterill Lynham (LYN00001)
and Catherine Alice (nee Hall) Lynam (HAL00100),
was born on 18 August 1887 and baptised in Audlem on 11 September 1887 (PR). The birth was registered in Nantwich district
in the third quarter of 1887 (GRO Cheshire Vol 8A
Page 379).

Charles Garner was a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer
Reserve (military records). The London Gazette 19
January 1915 listed his temporary
commission into the RNVR as a lieutenant.

the Demerara, a Royal Mail shipping vessel, from Liverpool to La Coruna, Spain,
listed as engineer.

Major C G Lynam was listed on the passenger list of the Massilia bound for Bombay, India.

January 1920: NOTICE is hereby
given, that the partnership heretofore subsisting between Arthur Cohen and
Charles Garner Lynam, carrying on business as Tin Box Manufacturers, at Hendon,
in the county of Middlesex, under the style or firm of the Hendon Metal Works,
has been dissolved by mutual consent as an from the 1sr day of November, 1919.
All debts due to and owing by the said firm will be received and paid by the
said Charles Garner Lynam, who will continue the said business. Dated this 31st
day of December 1919.
