and Mary Emma (nee Coverdale) Farndale (FAR00665), was born
in Thirsk District in the second quarter of 1923 (GRO
Vol 9D Page 784).

January 2013 and is buried at St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Leake, Hambleton
District, North Yorkshire.
FARNDALE On January 20, peacefully,
in hospital, Les, aged 89 years of Northallerton. Dearly loved husband of Mary,
loving dad of Gillian and Richard and a dearest father-in-law and grandad.
Funeral service to take place at All Saints Church, Northallerton, on Tuesday,
January 29, at 1.45pm followed by cremation. No flowers please.

Echo on 25 January 2013: FARNDALE Mary, Gillian and Richard wish to
thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kindness and support shown
and for the cards of condolence received following their loss of Les. Special
thanks to all the staff at Leeming Bar Grange Care Home and the M.A.U at the
Friarage Hospital for their kindness and care of Les. Also, to the Rev Howard
Smith for a thoughtful service, Owen Bathram Funeral Director for his help and
guidance and finally our grateful thanks for the generous donations received in
memory of Les for Alzheimer's Research UK.
