Gladys Farndale,
daughter of William and Mary (nee Coverdale) Farndale (FAR00665), was
born in 1926 and his birth was registered in Thirsk
District in the fourth quarter of 1926 (GRO Vol 9D
Page 656).
Northallerton
1949
Gladys Farndale,
married Joseph Leslie (“Leslie”) Craven in the second quarter of 1949 at Northallerton District.
They had a
daughter, Joan Craven and son, Brian Craven.
2018
The Northern Echo, 12 October 2018: CRAVEN Gladys
(nee Farndale) Gladys 92 years, peacefully on Monday, October 8 at Beechwood
Care Home. Beloved wife of the late Leslie, loving mother of Joan and Brian. A
much loved and missed grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Service to
celebrate the life of Gladys to take place at Northallerton Methodist Church at
11.45am on Friday, October 19.
