1280

If Nicholas was about 50 at the time he gave bail for Roger, then he might have been born in about 1280. He might have been the son of Nicholas de Farndale the Elder (FAR00006).

1334 and 1335

Nicholas of Farndale, gave bail for Roger son of Gilbert of Farndale (see FAR00028) who had been caught poaching in 1334 and 1335. (NRRY Vol VI to review again)

Gilbert (FAR00018) may have been Nicholas the Elder’ brother, and therefore Nicholas the Younger’s uncle.

1350

If Nicholas lived to about 70, he might have lived to about 1350.
