If Richard was 25 and Martha was 20 at
their wedding then Richard may have been born in about
1650 and she about 1655.
The current assumption is that he was
the son of Rychards ffarnedayle
and Emme Nellis (FAR00075).

at Brotton on 4 October 1675 (Brotton PR). This is the first mention of Brotton
in association with the Farndale family.

Isabel ffarndaill (FAR00112),
daughter of Richard ffarndaill was baptised at Brotton on 13 August 1676 (Brotton PR).

Martha Farndale, wife of Richard ffarndaill was buried at
Brotton on 11 December 1697(aged about 42?) (Brotton PR).

Richard Farndale, yeoman, buried Brotton on 20 March
1727/8 (Brotton PR). If his birth date is
correct, he would be aged 77 years old.
