1659
Merill Farndale,
daughter of George Farndale (FAR00077),
was born in or about 1659 (see grandfather's will at
FAR00071).
1681
On 31 Oct 1681, the Administration of George Farndale,
late of Stockton on Tees who died intestate was granted to his widow Merilia Farndale.
George and Merill
Farndale are mentioned in the Will of George Young of Great Ayton. It is a very
long document but an extract is:
‘……..And to my cozen Michaell Young some twelve
pence; Item, I give to my cozen Meriall ffarndell tenn shillings and to Meriall and
Alice, her daughters, tenn shillings a peece. Item, I give to my servant John Kirton and George
ffarndell now prentice with James Peacocke, all that parte
of the ship James Peacocke goes Master in after my wife’s decease………’ (this
will was proved on 18 February 1678/9).
