Mary Ann Farndale, daughter of John
& Ann Farndale (FAR00210)
of Newholm, farmer, was born on 20 July 1816 and baptised
at Whitby on 25 July 1816 (Whitby PR &
IGI).
1842
Mary Ann Farndale was presumably the
mother out of marriage of John Farndale (FAR00355), who died of
convulsions aged 3 days. He was born on 7 October 1842 to Mary
Ann Farndale, and died on 10 October 1842.
1843
Mary Ann Farndale married William
Pringle at Danby in Cleveland on 8 July 1843. She was the daughter of John
Farndale, a labourer. She lived at Dale End at the time of the marriage, and he
lived at Park House. William Pringles was a husbandsman.
Mary solemnised the marriage with her mark. Banns of marriage had been issued on
18 and 25 June and 2 July 1843.

Their son, John Pringles was born.
