Richard Farndale, son of Joseph and Mary (nee Hill) Farndale (FAR00228) of Nunthorpe, cartwright, was baptised at Great Ayton on 15 February 1818 (Great Ayton PR).

There is no record of his death but his parents gave birth to another Richard Farndale on 31 July 1825. It must therefore be assumed that he died before 1825 and it is reasonably assumed in the absence of record that he died at birth.
