Charles Farndale, son of John George and Elizabeth (nee Sanderson) Farndale (FAR00337), was born in Ontario, Canada at Vaughan, York, Ontario on 21 May 1881. John was a labourer. The birth was registered on 21 May 1881 (Birth Certificate, Letters).

Charles Farndale, 30, born 1881, labourer, living with the Willis Family.

1914

Charles Farndale, married Mabel Fanny Pugh on 27 October 1914 in Peel, Ontario, Canada (Letters). Mabel Fanny Pugh was the daughter of William Carrington Pugh (1849 to 1888) and Fanny (nee Rutley) Pugh (1843 to 1923) and she was born in about 1886.

This photograph is of the wedding of Charles Farndale and Mabel Pugh in Canada in 1914.

From her 1911 Census record in Peel, Ontario, she seems to have been the daughter of Fannie Pugh, and was born in Ontario in about 1886.

Charles was a farmer in Melton, Ontario (Letters).

Bessie Marie Farndale (FAR00878A) was born in Ontario in 1922 (Letters). Bessie Marie Farndale died in 1922 and was buried at Brampton Cemetery, Brampton, Peel (Mon R).

1928

Charles Farndale died on 7 July 1928 at Chinguacousy, Peel, Ontario and is buried at Brampton Cemetery (Canada Deaths). His death certificate records death by hanging being self inflicted while temporarily insane.

Charles Farndale, died in 1928 and Mabel married his brother Albert Farndale (FAR00598), but later divorced him (Letters).

1929

Mabel Fanny Farndale married her brother in law on 27 April 1929, but they later divorced.

1933

In 1933, Mabel married Wilfred Archer.

1950

Mabel died in 1950 and was buried at Churchville cemetery, Brampton.
