Ernest Farndale, died, aged 24, at Craggs Hall on
30 November 1913 (Monumental Record). The death was registered in the fourth quarter of 1913
(GRO Vol 9d page 567). He was buried on 3 December 1913 at St Peter, Brotton.
Gravestone: In loving memory of Ernest,
beloved son of Matthew and Mary Farndale of Craggs Hall, died 30th November
1913 aged 24 years. Also the above named Mary Ann Farndale, died 4th
November 1933 aged 77 Years (Monumental Record).
