Mary Frances Farndale was
born at Tidkinhow Farm on 22 January
1889, the daughter of Martin and Catherine Jane (nee Lindsay) Farndale (FAR00364) (PR and family knowledge). Mary Farndale’s birth was registered
at Guisborough District in the second quarter of 1889 (GRO
Vol 9d page 508). Mary was the eighth
child of Martin and Catherine
and the third daughter.
