July 1911 and baptised on 6 August 1911 at St Stephen, Norbury and Thornton
Heath (BR). Madge Farndale’s birth was registered in the third quarter of 1911
at Croydon District (GRO Vol 2A page 587). They
lived at Kentwyns, Warwick Road, Thornton Heath.

was married to Miss Madge Farndale at St Stephens Church, Newbury, last week.
Miss Farndale is the youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs S Farndale, of Melfort
Rd, Thornton Heath. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr Thomas H Farndale.
The service was conducted by the Rev B Kemp-Buck, and Mr Michael Atlas was the
best man. 60 guests attended the reception at the Sussex Tavern, Streatham. The
honeymoon is being spent in Bournemouth.
