postcards which were attached to the many balloons sent up from the ambulance
gala field last Saturday have been returned during the week. They have come
from Ilkley, Harrogate, Otley, Silsden, and other places. One came from Moor
Malton, near York ... Perhaps the one that travelled farthest is that of Mr
Heath, of Wilton Lane, Nelson, whose card was picked up by Irene Farndale,
at Saltburn, near Middlesbrough....
