Cecil Herbert Langdale Farndale, son
of Robert and Sarah (nee Samuels) Farndale (FAR00455), was born in Chester
on 27 July 1916 (1939 Register). His birth
was registered in Chester District, Cheshire in the third quarter of 1916 (GRO Vol 8A Page 634).
His name Langdale was taken from his
grandmother’s maiden name.
