(census) on 15 August 1917 (1939 Register). His birth was registered in Guisborough

December 1949: PIGEON CUP WINNERS. The
presentation of trophies to members of the Loftus Homing Society was made at a
supper held at Loftus. Mr W E Greenwood, secretary, reported that members had
sent 1,836 birds to the 17 race points during the season.... Mr Greenwood won
the Britannia Cup and replica, and Mr. T Farndale, the “Walter Wilson” Cup.
1958
Thomas W Farndale, died aged 41 in the fourth quarter of 1958 at
Cleveland District (DR). He was buried
on 24 October 1958 at Loftus Cemetery.
