1814
Henry Hall, the son of
Robert and Catharine (nee Eldershaw) Hall (FAR00070) was baptised on 10 February 1814 at St Giles, Newcastle under
Lyme. There is a family bible which records that he was born on 23 December
1809. It is possible that he was not baptised until he was about five years
old, though this would be unusual. However the age
given in census records puts him close to a birth in or shortly after 1809.
