1603

Infanta Farndayle was buried (sepulta) at Skelton on 4 January 1603 (Skelton Parish Records). The child was almost certainly born and buried the same day. The child was probably the child of George and Margery Farndaile (FAR00067).

1607

The child’s father, George Farndaile was buried on 9 March 1607 at Skelton (Skelton Parish Records). His will in 1609 provided for guardianship of the remaining children: ‘The Dean of Cleveland grants guardianship of William Farndaile, Susan, George and Richard Farndaile, children of George Farndale, deceased, together with administration of their affairs, goods, rights and portions to Margery Farndale by choice of the said children.’ (York Wills).
