William Farndale, must have been born in or about 1725, to reconcile with the date of his
marriage below.
He was probably the son of William and
Mary Farndale (FAR00125) of
Brotton. Otherwise he may have been the son of William
Farndale (FAR00123) of
Skelton, Brotton, Liverton and Kilton?

William Farndale,
of the Parish of Brotton married
Mary Taylor of Liverton by
Banns at Liverton on 11 Feb 1750/51 (Liverton PR & IGI). There is a record of the
death of Mary Farndale a widow aged 98 in 1810, so she would have been born in
or about 1712. So Mary would have been 38 when she
married and William would have been 25.
