John Farndale was baptised at Brotton on 5 October 1755, the son of William
and Mary Farndale (FAR00146)

John referred to as “John Farndale Junior” in Kilton Records. This may have been to
distinguish him from John Farndale (1750 to 1825)(FAR00167), who was also farming
in Kilton at the time.
