1759
Frances Farndale, a quadruplet and
daughter of Francis Farndale (FAR00135),
was baptised at Whitby on 3 September 1759 (Whitby PR & IGI).
1786
William Farndale (FAR00207), “illeg” son of Frances Farndale was baptised at Whitby on 13
May 1786. He died at birth.
1789
Francis Farndale (FAR00212A), “illeg” son of Frances Farndale, was baptised at Whitby on 2
May 1789.
Margaret Farndale (FAR00213), “illeg” daughter of Frances Farndale, was baptised at Whitby
on 16 Jul 1789. She died aged one.
It doesn’t make sense that she had two
children who were not twins born so close together – I wonder if Francis is in
fact the Francis Farndale (FAR00206)
who was the son of her brother Thomas Farndale (FAR00182).
I think Frances probably had two children out of
wedlock, William and Margaret, who both died at birth or very young.
1791
Frances Farndale married Robert Heselton, at Whitby
on 26 July 1791.
