Mary Ann
Farndale, daughter of John and Jane (nee Pybus) Farndale (FAR00167) of Brotton, farmer, was baptised on 27 February
1814 at Brotton (Brotton PR). She was twin
sister to Robert Farndale.
1843
Mary Ann Farndale daughter of John Farndale of Brotton, farmer married John Porritt, a joiner
on 4 February 1843 (Brotton PR, GRO Vol 24 page 291).
Mary was aged about 27 at her marriage.
In the 1841 Census, John Porritt was a cartwright, aged
25 living in Moorsholm.
