Ann Farndale, daughter
of Henry and Elizabeth (nee Appleton) Farndale (FAR00229) of Nunthorpe,
labourer, was baptised at Great Ayton
on 31 December 1820 (Great Ayton PR).
When Ann Farndale
was born in 1820 in Great Ayton, Yorkshire, her father, Henry, was 25, and her
mother, Elizabeth nee Appleton, was 22.
1846
She married Mark
Charlton on 18 May 1846 in Billingham, Durham (Billingham
PR, GRO Vol 24 page 211).
Billingham is
northeast of Stockton on Tees.
1849
Elizabeth
Charlton was born in 1849 at Coopen Bewley, Billingham,
Durham and the birth was registered in the second quarter of 1848 (GRO Vol 24 page 269).
