Ann Farndale, daughter of Joseph and Mary (nee Hill) Farndale (FAR00228) of Nunthorpe cartwright, was baptised at Great Ayton on 4 November 1821 (Great Ayton PR).

Ann Farndale, married Thomas Knaggs, 28, a widower and cartwright at Ayton in Cleveland on 25 December 1847, a spinster aged 26 (Great Ayton PR, North Yorkshire Record Office PR/AYG 1/6/4). Her father was Joseph Farndale a cartwright.
