Elizabeth Farndale married Robert Tate on 11
January 1882 at New Shildon, Auckland District (GRO
Vol 10a page 253). She was 21 and he was 22.
There
is a suggestion, including from later census records, that she married George W
Taylor. Given the middle name of their first son, it seems most likely that Robert
Tate died and she then married George Taylor.
