Hartlepool
1881
Mary Hannah Farndale, daughter
of Robert G and Mary (nee Butterworth) Farndale (FAR00326), was born in Hartlepool District on 30 September 1881
according to the
1939 Register. I
think it is possible that there was a mistake in the 1939 record and that she
might have been born in 1883 (possibly 30 September 1883).
1883
Mary Hannah Farndale was baptised
on 24 October 1883 at Lynn Street Free Methodist Church, West Hartlepool (BR).
Mary Hannah Farndale’s birth was not registered in Hartlepool District until the fourth
quarter of 1883 (GRO Vol 10a page 133).
When Mary H Farndale was baptised
in 1883 in Hartlepool, Durham, her
father, Robert, was 50, and her mother, Mary nee Butterworth, was 40.
