Meggy Farndale, daughter of Samuel and Mary (nee Hogarth) Farndale (FAR00410), was born on 20 March 1893 (1939 Register). Meggy Farndale’s birth was registered in Guisborough District in the second quarter of 1893 (GRO Vol 9d page 505).

Meggie had a son, who she named after her father, Samuel Sanders Farndale (FAR00776), who she had when she was still single (GRO Vol 9d page 965), but Samuel Junior died aged only 4 months and was buried at Liverton Mines on 7 January 1912 (St Michael (now St Martin), Liverton PR).

Samuel’s namesake, the 56 year old Samuel Sanders Farndale (FAR00410), was his grandfather and died the preceding year.

Meggie Farndale, married Francis Vincent St Leger (“Frank”) Trevor in 1912 and their marriage was registered at Guisborough District in the third quarter of 1912 (GRO Vol 9d page 990).
