Hilda Farndale, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (nee Armin) Farndale (FAR00495), was born Hartlepool District on 13 November 1895 (1939 Register). Hilda Farndale’s birth was registered in Hartlepool District in the fourth quarter of 1895 (GRO Vol 10a page 166).

Hilda Farndale, married Fred Wager in 1920 and their marriage was registered in the first quarter of 1920 at Hartlepool District (GRO Vol 10a page 280).

Fred Wager was the son of Frederick Reuben Wager (1873 to 1940) and Margaret (nee Pittendreigh) Wager (1880 to 1940), and was born on 3 March 1896 and brought up in Walker, Northumberland and later in West Hartlepool.

Fred Wager died in 1980, aged 82, and his death was registered In Burnley and Pendle, Lancashire in the second quarter of 1980 (GRO Vol 40 page 1004).
