The Northern Whig,
1 June 1940 and Londonderry Sentinel, 1 June
1940 reported that Edward Farndale, then 25, was a musician, temporarily resident in Ferryquay
Street, Coleraine. On the termination of a musical engagement in Belfast, he
had come to Coleraine. He had an issue with his war time identity card.

Echo 11 June 1943 and Liverpool Echo 13 July
1943 reported that then aged 28, Edward Francis Farndale was a jig and tool inspector. He got into some trouble over the loss of
some tools.

On 24 July 1960, he travelled to
Boston and is shown on a passenger list arriving at Boston, Massachusetts, with
a US Address at 25 Brentwood Avenue, Barrington

He travelled to Boston again arriving
on 9 October 1962, with the same address.

He later lived in Bournemouth.

Edward Francis Farndale died on 21 November 2002 with probate at Ipswich Suffolk on 21 July
2004.
