John Farndale, son of John &
Elizabeth Farndale (FAR00230)
of Kildale, labourer, was baptised at Kildale on 30 August 1829 (Kildale PR & IGI).
Kildale is up on the moors
about 10km east of Great Ayton.

of Kirkleatham son of John Farndale (FAR00230), labourer, married Ann Thrattles aged 20, by banns, spinster servant of Boulby, daughter of Robert Thrattles,
an alum worker at the Parish Church Easington, on 16 July 1854. John signed and
Ann made her mark. The witnesses were John Stonehouse and W Harrison. CF
Morehead was the Rector. (MC, Easington)
Boulby is on the coast near Staithes.

1858
William Ralph Farndale (FAR00430) was born at Stockton in 1858. He died in 1870 aged
11.

Ellen made her mark. The witnesses were Ebenezer Vasey and Mary Ann Vasey.
