Gale (1850 to 1929) was born in Bedale in 1850 and baptised there on 25
December 1850 (Bedale PR). She was the
daughter of Job Gale (1819 to 1899), a farm labourer, and Harriet Gale (1819 to
1898).
Their
son William Farndale (FAR00498)
was born on 3 May 1870 at Bedale (1939
Register) and baptised in Bedale on 19 October 1870 (Bedale
PR). His birth was registered in Bedale in the second quarter of
1870 (GRO Vol 9d page 508).

continued to live with the Gale family.
